success books

The world is dominated by one single species, for the time being. Whatever you do in life or whatever you want to do, you need other humans to approve it.

There’s an element of online identity creeping in, where someone could in fact sit in their room all day every day and accomplish quite a lot. But this probably only stretches as far as making money, the first stage of online dating and bedroom selfies.

Outside of this there’s an entire world where human to human interaction is 100% necessary and you can’t go a day without it.

Unless you’re crazy, you probably don’t talk to trees, dogs don’t pay your bills and you’re not dating food.

Everything from money to dating involves humans.

If you want to be successful in life, then you either have to convince a human to give you a chance, or you have to convince a large group of humans to buy into you/your products/your services/your craft.

If you want to get married and have kids, then you have to convince a human of the opposite sex to want to be with you and to consensually have sex with you.

If you want to make friends with someone, then it’s going to be impossible if you’re not willing to open a conversation with them.

Our entire lives function because of social interactions and our ability to build trust/likability/love.

How Books Can Help

With this knowledge it makes us realize that understanding how humans behave, react and think, could just be the most important skill you acquire in your lifetime.

If you become more convincing, more persuasive, you know how to build trust, you learn about body language, you start to predict people’s reactions and you’re able to understand what people want, then do you not think this would change everything?

It’s like that movie “What A Woman Wants” starring Mel Gibson. The moment he’s able to read the minds of women, he’s able to land the hottest one’s and convince them on a daily basis in a business sense. Although it’s a movie, it ends up changing his life which isn’t hard to imagine.

Certain books can do this for you. Of course you’re not going to become a mind reader, but it’ll feel like it when you’re able to alter someone’s decision, increase sales and convince that girl to be with you.
