taking pictures with someones car

Let’s start off by saying that a select few people have made a lot of money from taking pictures of other people’s cars. However the average person on the street is merely snapping a few quick one’s for their social media.

Most people see an expensive car and for some reason think that by taking a picture of this, or by either standing next to the car and getting someone else to take a picture, that they’ll reap the rewards.

Sadly this doesn’t happen. That profile picture you have where you’re stood next to a Ferrari doesn’t quite look as great as you think it does.

In fact it has more negative connotations than positive.

You Get Grouped With Everyone Else

You don’t want to appear like one of the masses, you want to be the guy who stays calm and perhaps looks once, rather than the guy who loses himself and acts like a fanboy.

Most people act this way because they never see themselves getting this car. You want a mentality where you’re thinking, “That’s nice, but I want my own”.

The Real Owner May Turn-up

Perhaps the most embarrassing thing is when the true owner is watching you or turns up as you’re in mid-shot, followed by the words, “Nice car”.

The owner knows it’s a nice car, they’ve worked hard for it instead of faking it. All you’re doing is blowing up their ego and they see you as another mediocre individual who hasn’t got what it takes to get to their level.

You should in fact be more interested in the knowledge that the individual has rather than their assets.

Everyone Knows It’s Not Yours

The Facebook profile picture with the caption “Just bought this” isn’t fooling anyone. People who have that kind of cash wouldn’t have it as their profile picture in most cases anyway.

To you it looks great, to anyone else with a brain it’s embarrassing. You’re stood next to a car that you don’t own, can’t afford and are claiming is yours. No matter how good the picture looks, no one is impressed.

Do yourself a favor and actively go after a car like this in your own life. Taking pictures only highlights how far away you really are. Put it this way, you wouldn’t be so amazed by this car if you believed that you belonged at that level and will soon be able to afford it yourself.

Don’t stand their and react like you’ve just seen a UFO. The people who do this have no idea how to get to this level hence the pictures. It will only ever be a dream to them. Focus on your own life, get as far away from the masses as possible and achieve what you’ve always wanted.
